The History

With a background firmly set in live audio hire and production dating back to the 70's, the Australian owners of Quest Engineering have clearly been part of the evolution of the modern audio industry we have today. The Quest Engineering company was launched in the mid 90's in response to a growing demand by mobile sound production companies for very high powered and compact audio systems that could sustain full power for long durations.

At that time, the growth of the all night dance party and the need for ultra high powered low profile monitors stimulated the forerunner of Quest Engineering to develop number of custom manufactured solutions for local production companies. The popularity of these specialized products within the pro industry motivated establishment of a permanent production facility and Quest Engineering as it exists today was born.

The Quest

From the outset Quest Engineering's focus on user friendly applications stands at the centre of the company's development strategy. The foundation principles behind every Quest product are based on three core principles.
