QM 215FR Multi Purpose Speaker
The QM 215FR Quasi 3-way loudspeaker system provides high output, low distortion sound reinforcement for the entire range of pro audio applications. The 2 mid-bass in low frequency woofers and 1.4 in exit 3 inch voice coil high frequency compression driver provides higher output and lower distortion plus enhanced power handling capabilities for better performance in both portable and permanently installed applications. The constant waveguide HF horn provides optimized dispersion of HF information without problematic beaming or hotspots.
The quasi 3-way design gives this full range speaker system a very coherent midrange with a vocal clarity not generally expected in this type of multi-purpose design.
Its high output capabilities let it act as a main system for smaller concert or or even provide front fill, side fill or drum monitoring for concert touring applications. The aero-track fly-ware permit safe, load-rated suspension in permanent or temporary installations. Casing is painted birch ply and a heavy gauge steel power-coated front grill and recessed rear Speakon connectors make this tough package ready for the road.
Power handling is 1,100 watts RMS and the 1.4" throat 3" voice coil Quest HF driver means the system has the headroom and sonic fidelity.
